What in the world are you doing, Barack Obama? I can only speak to your executive power, so I won't comment on things like allowing gas prices to remain high. Still, the list is long:
(1) Through agencies controlled by the Executive Branch, demolishing the manner in which business is conducted. For example, the movement of corporate entities bound through NLRB. For example, the ban on raw milk through the FDA. For example, the forbidding of oil drilling through the EPA.
(2) War without authorization. War without goals.
(3) Snubbing of friends, such as Israel. Embrace of America's enemies, such as Chavez.
(4) Involvement in race relations in a coy manner, as if people's emotions are playthings to manipulate.
(5) Treating genuine Americans like skittish animals, some of whom you caress like favorite horses, others you lock outside in the rain.
(6) Running guns.
(7) Refusing to sign legislation which limits spending.
(8) No transparency, though often promised.
(9) Communist ties through czars.
A lot of energy is spent attempting to determine "Why are you doing this?" Many reasons are given: you're a communist, you're a radical Muslim, you're an idiot, you're an elitist New World Order guy.
But who cares! The point is that you're failing mightily or succeeding gloriously, depending on who you are. Mainly, you're just dangerous.
When you claim that you "inherited" his situation, I call BS. You applied for the position, no one thrust it on you. When you were a candidate, you were quite the brave man, saying "give it to me!" Now, you whine that it's too hard.
So here's what I say. Supposing that George W. Bush handed you (Mr. Obama) the worst economy of all time, two unfunded wars, and other such messes, you have so far failed to correct these things. In fact, you have exacerbated said terrible economy, and added several war zones while upping the ante in Iraq and Afghanistan. The motto, "We can't go back to the failed policies" can no longer apply to you. Therefore, when you say, "Give me a chance," all I can say is "you ain't done nothing."
I don't care why you're failing - I have no sympathy for you. I don't care why you think you're succeeding - I don't believe you have America's best interests in heart or mind.
